Frontier Lubricants

    Wix/VeloFigmaCMS

I worked on the Frontier Lubricants website redesign while at Centered Marketing, joining the project midstream as a junior designer and ultimately serving as the primary developer and site builder. The goal was to modernize an outdated brochure-style website and create a scalable system to showcase a large and complex product catalog. Frontier offers over 140 lubricant products across multiple industries, most of which are not sold directly online, so the site needed to function as a searchable, well-organized product catalog with quick access to SDS sheets, technical data, sizes, and industry use cases, while still supporting a small e-commerce offering for select products. The final site was rebuilt in Wix Studio with extensive use of the Wix CMS and custom Velo code. Leveraging existing product documentation and data organization created earlier in the project, I designed and implemented a normalized, relational CMS structure connecting products, categories, industries, sizes, and downloadable resources. I also engineered a system that links CMS-driven product pages with Wix e-commerce product pages using shared IDs, allowing content like SDS sheets and technical data to remain centralized while still supporting online purchasing where applicable. The site includes multiple dynamic page templates, advanced filtering, conditional logic for purchase availability, and CMS-driven repeaters to keep content flexible and easy to maintain. Overall, this project pushed me deep into data modeling, dynamic page rendering, and custom CMS logic within Wix's UI builder and Velo framework. The result is a professionally polished, highly functional website designed to scale with Frontier’s catalog and reduce future maintenance effort by keeping most updates confined to backend CMS tables rather than the visual editor.
